Select a part of URL on mouse click+hold+move

I don’t know if this is a bug or a new feature request but let me write it as a new feature
I use following version of Brave

Brave: 0.24.0
V8: 6.9.427.23
rev: f657f15bf7e0e0c50a2b854c6b05edb59bfc556c
Muon: 8.1.6
OS Release: 3.13.0-158-generic
Update Channel: Release
OS Architecture: x64
OS Platform: Linux
Node.js: 7.9.0
Brave Sync: v1.4.2
libchromiumcontent: 69.0.3497.100
Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

I have a “problem” in case I want to change part of the URL.
For example instagram.com/some.name
I want to change the “some.name” to “some.other.name” - I click to the URL bar and with holding left mouse I move. What I would expect is that only a text starting on that click position and covered by that move is selected. In reality the full URL is selected and I drag it somewhere else.

All major browsers work like that (that a text is selected and not dragged) and I would love Brave to behave the same as it is annoying to must click twice into URL and then to start text selection.
