I have been seeing the same ad again over and over, at least 20+ times and I dismiss it instantly. This is a waste of my attention and a waste of the advertisers BAT.
An idea to improve this: Could Brave keep and internal count of how many times an ad notification has been dismissed without being clicked, and if this exceeds a threshold, such as 5 times, that ad is never shown again?

Thanks @sonicdream for the suggestion. Actually the browser does currently try to “cap” the number of times an individual ad is shown. Some still are set by advertisers to show a few times a day. What we are looking to do is improve the delivery algorithm, and make sure a certain amount of time appears between each ad so it doesn’t bother users as much. Hopefully we will roll these out in the near future.
