Secuirty question for Brave and Mxlinux

Hello there,
I wish to install Brave onto my Mxlinux and I saw and was going to follow a previous guide that was post on how to install it.

However, when doing so research, I stumble upon a issue that enabling kernel.unprivileged_userns_clone may have some security risks.

What does enabling kernel.unprivileged_userns_clone do?

Is this security issue legit or would it be okay to do usern_clone?
Is there a way or will there be a way to install Brave on MxLinux in the future with out this security issue?

@Ewok that is an old thread for deprecated Brave (muon) version. And I’m not sure if it’s still relevant.
