Search results dissappear after loading

SOLUTION:
This was a conflict with Adguard for Android.
In Adguard, navigating to Protection>Ad Blocking>Website allowlist and adding “search.brave.com” fixed my issue.

When using search.brave.com on my mobile phone, the website will appear then dissappear into a blank screen upon loading. This happens on Brave browser and also tested on Firefox. If i search from my address bar on Brave browser with brave search, the results will load, but then immediately dissappear after load and the screen where results were appear blank.

I’ve tried 2 different browsers and deleting all app data for both and resetting with nothing fixing the issue. Oddly, this seems to be also happening to someone else on desktop via this reddit post:

This started happening today…looking for some assistance.

I have the same issue on Brave browser on Windows 11 desktop. Searching anything shows the search results for half of a second, then the screen goes blank.

This was also raised by someone else here:

Same issue here, started happening on my android in brave app today, i open a new tab search somthing then it loads for about a second then screen just goes blank on that tab, constantly happening. I think it is an issue on the backend of brave if not a recent update.

Edit: I downloaded Brave Beta app, and it seems to be working as intended, I was unable to replicate this issue on the Beta version. Strange as I have NEVER experienced this up until today on the Stable Release Brave app.

Edit2: I was able to fix the issue by Blocking Scripts, upon toggling it the page loaded as it was supposed to, havent been able to produce the problem since toggling script blocking as shown in this Screen shot

Thank you for this suggestion as this did also fix the the problem for me too.. However, i doubt blocking scripts is a solution the Brave staff would want as it says it may break websites.

Hopefully Brave can address this issue officially and implement a true fix to the problem soon. In the meantime, I’ll see how many problems this causes, thanks again!

*EDIT:

In fact it breaks this very website, so this isn’t a solution unfortunately. What’s weird is this happens on Firefox too, I’ll just keep using a different search engine for the time being.

*EDIT 2(solution in orginal post):
I noticed you also use Adguard, so I thought that could be the cause. Sure enough, disabling Adguard also fixed the issue. Better still, re-enabling Adguard didnt cause the issue again. So it seems toggling Adguard off and back on, in essence refreshing it, fixes the problem. Try testing that.

I have this exact issue on my desktop Win 11 browser. I’ve not found a resolution and need help!
