This has only been in the last few days, but I do a search using Duck Duck Go and it takes a while, like 30-40 seconds. Not sure if it’s their problem or Brave’s.

Hi, I’m not quite sure what you mean by template. I tried editing my question to add that I’m on a desktop and using Mac OS. I don’t see any other options.

Can you try opening a Private window, going to DDG and see if it takes the same amount of time? to search?
Ah yes, it works normally now. But I don’t want to click on a new private window every time, preferably.

Can you try clearing your cache/browsing data? I would start with just clearing data for DDG by visiting the site and using the lock icon in the address bar (Lock icon --> Site settings --> Clear data
)?
If it is still slow, try clearing all cache/browser data.
