Search Displays Unwanted "Social" Column/Panel

Description of the issue:
When I searched on a topic, results page included a right-hand column with “social” results. I am completely uninterested in any form of “social” results.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
Search on “sheex” (or presumably anything else the dopes presented on the left-hand column don’t like).

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
image

Expected result:
I would have liked just seeing the left side of screen. I don’t need to be told what a bad person I am for searching for something.

Reproduces how often:
Each time (so far…)

Brave Version(about:brave):
Version 0.58.21 Chromium: 71.0.3578.98 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Reproducible on current live release (yes/no):
Ummm…Yes?

Additional Information:
None.

Thanks for reaching out @aa040371!
The right-hand side of the window you’re seeing is a setting from within Qwant - not Brave.

To remove the Social panel in the search results, click the menu button on the top-right side of the Qwant homepage (or search results). Click Settings and scroll down and you’ll see an option to add or remove certain Qwant features. The option you’re looking for is located there, as depicted below:

Got it…thanks. Sorry for the confusion…I sorta assumed Brave & Qwant were just joined at the hip, or something like.

I mean we’re not the same but…we’re tight :crossed_fingers:
