It’s not just ‘not what I am used to’, it’s not what I want. If I go to amazon, it’s to log in and look at past orders for someone else. I don’t buy anything from Bezos 
The point is, I use my address bar to go to websites, and occasionally to search. Search being the default is FINE, and it’s the same on Firefox, other than in the RARE instance that I already have a site bookmarked. I’d like the browser to give that priority over search, if bookmarked.
