Scrolling issue with animated gif

On each page on where user .oisyn is active, scrolling is slow and lagging. It is possibly related to his high-framerate animated avatar. But even in Internet Explorer 11 there is no problem.

Brave 0.17.13 rev f7242c7 on Windows 10 Pro x64 v 1703

Edit: also many other avatars on the same page (some of them are also animated) are not displayed.

I don’t see any issue with scrolling on the page which you have linked. The avatars are missing even when the shields are down.

What I’m (still) seeing: when I tap the Page Down key 5 times quickly, Brave needs about 10 sec. to catch up (shields down). Scrolling with the mouse wheel or touchpad feels like stirring syrup. In Firefox and Edge there is zero delay/lag.

Only about 50% have avatars, but that’s the same in Firefox Edge.

My system is a Dell Latitude E7450 laptop, i5-5300U / 16 GB / Win10 Pro x64, Intel graphics driver

About Brave shows:

Here’s another long page on the same site, but without animated avatars. It scrolls better in Brave on my system than the example in my original post, but still not very good. In Firefox and Edge it scrolls much faster and smoother.

I tried several other blogs and forums with long pages, but I cannot find another one where I experience this scrolling lag.
On this site: Brave is much faster than the others.
