Scroll - Lines at a time too fast

Description of the issue: Scroll wheel moves seven (7) or more lines at a time for each scroll input event like this unresolved report
How can this issue be reproduced? Scroll a webpage with more than one page of text

  1. Load Halloween I (MS Linux opposition research leak)
  2. Scroll down the page
  3. In my environment, it scrolls ten lines (on this small font)

Expected result: One or two lines at a time

Brave Version: Version 1.60.114 Chromium: 119.0.6045.124 (Official Build) (64-bit)

I played with xinput settings for a few reboots, but no change.

However, I was able to discover a setting that helped me: chrome://flags/#windows-scrolling-personality

Once enabled and after a relaunch, websites with small fonts and tiny code now scroll at a much reduced rate, greatly improving this issue.

It’s worth noting that the touch pad on my laptop scrolled very smoothly as fast or slow as I liked; it was just the scroll wheel on my physical mouse that had this ‘issue’ for me.
