Screen Tearing while playing videos on Youtube et Twitch

Description of the issue: As the title says, any video stream on Brave will cause screen tearing. I’ve tested it on other browsers, and the problem isn’t there. It’s been happening for the last 3 versions or so, I’ve never had this kind of problem before.

How can this issue be reproduced?

Open any video (mostly on Youtube and Twitch)
Screen will tear
Expected result: No screen tear

Brave Version( check About Brave): Version 1.73.91 Chromium: 131.0.6778.85 (Build officiel) (64 bits)

I need tutorials or solutions to solve the problem.

Somewhere in your Brave Browser Settings, you can disable Hardware Acceleration. Try that.

Disabling hardware acceleration usually does the trick, but if not, tweaking those experimental flags is like unlocking Brave’s secret “smooth operator” mode.
