Screen sharing and Calling on Facebook Messenger stopped working

Description of the issue:
The screen sharing pop-up confirmation won’t appear after clicking “Present Now”. Thus, you can’t screen share on Google Meet when using Brave Browser. And call from Facebook Messenger mainly doesnt work except on group calls. In Facebook Messneger Brave closes while sharing screen and says to restart browser and computer while trying to audio or video chat.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Create a meeting on https://meet.google.com/ or try calling or sharing screen from Facebook Messenger.
  2. Click “Present Now”

Expected result:
It should appear and once I click “Ok” on the screen share confirmation pop-up. It should start sharing my screen so that I could present to the participants of the video conference on Google Meet.

shouldnt Brave Beta just auto update ?

Hi, @Ramkrishna1, unfortunately, I can’t answer this as I’ve only used Release build, so far. For now, just go ahead and update it manually, and perhaps someone who uses Beta/ Nightly will illuminate us both :slight_smile:
