Saving pictures creates unreadable files unless '.jpg' or '.png' or another image extension is manually added to the end of the file name

    • Find a picture on a website such as https://StarPage.com type in search words of your choice & hit [Enter]
    • Click “Images” to get the Image Search,
    • Click on an image,
    • Click “View Image,” to the right of the image,
    • On the image that opened in a New Tab Right-Click and select “Save Image…”
    • Change the “File name” (w/o adding a file extension)
    • Then click “Save” & try to open the saved ‘image’

Thanks for reporting @life777eternal,

It’s a known issue for Windows users when user rename the download file. Temporary workaround is saving without change the file name or rename without remove the extension.

And the team is working to fix it.
