When I login to rutorrent it will timeout and fail to connect.

I tried with the sheilds up and down. Same result

Site works fine on all other browsers. It also works on my phone which says the last update was 6 days ago but it has a different version of the browser than my pc which says 3 days. That also matches the time it stopped working. I initially thought the server may be down but that wasn’t the case.

v1.73.91** (Nov 20, 2024) Upgraded Chromium to 131.0.6778.85. Desktop Version

My android Running Android 14 is running Version 1.73.89 Chromium 131.0.6778.69 and works fine.

I am using a Mac that is old, and Brave Browser that also is old. Lately, when trying to get the Brave Browser Desktop Changelog page at GitHub, I may instead get a pop-up:

  • something “unreachable”

or some message about a “blob” failure. Happens about 50% of the time - when trying to get the latest Changelog info. And a similar failure to thoroughly connect at Amazon.com.

I suspect a holiday season case of the sporadic slows; with causes: the usual suspects that try to interrupt Internet processing.

Meanwhile, I would back up bookmarks and passwords. Then thoroughly clear caches, cookies, history, site data - everything, actually, using the Advanced tab and time range: all time, at:

Had an Oldsmobile long ago, with Rochester QuadraJet that I fine-tuned.

Ha, Not many people catch that. For that matter not many people left who know how to work on carburetors anymore. Thanks for the advice I’ll give it a go. My information is synced across devices so it’s not a big deal to get it back.
