I use multiple profiles to contain passwords/bookmarks/etc for different areas of responsibility, as I assume many people do.
When clicking a link outside of the browser (like in an email from a coworker, for example), that link will open in my last active browser profile, which may or may not be the profile in which the link needs to be opened. I find myself constantly needing to switch profiles manually, go back to the link, and click it again.
It’d be great if there were a set of rules we could configure that automatically routed links to a specific profile.
This is one of my favorite features of Arc, which they call “Air traffic control”:
There’s also a Mac utility called Finicky, which operates similarly, but operates by way of a js config file.
