Reset rewards, now Gemini is disabled

I reset my Brave Rewards account and turned off my VPN and cleared all my cookies. Tried to start over, but it says Gemini is not allowed in my region even though I live in NY state and have had a Gemini account for many years.

How do I fix this?

@josephj11 Gemini hasn’t been supported for well over a year. Any existing Rewards profiles that were connected were “grandfathered in,” meaning they would remain connected. But once you reset it or try connecting a new device, you’d be unable to connect.

Your choice would be to go through Uphold or to do self custody (on-chain) payouts. You can read more about that at PSA: Current and upcoming changes to Rewards and Creators
