I also would like this feature. Its user interface is quite simple. It adds a menu item to the file menu, which you can click. According to preferences you already support a third party product to display a PDF flle as if it were a web file. They might already provide the API to implemet this in a few lines of code. This is a very useful technique for capturing a window to a folder for later study, without having to recreate the navigation sequence you used to get there, and to deal with the possibility that the source might be later deleted. I use it a lot to help me prioritize which of the many topics that I see. Without it, I will continue to use Safari on MacOS.
