I’d like to raise a concern on behalf of the significant and growing community of Brave users in Bangladesh. Despite the increasing number of users who actively support and engage with the platform, Bangladesh still remains on the list of unsupported countries for Brave Rewards. This has left many of us puzzled and disappointed.
Currently, users in Bangladesh are unable to link custodial wallets like Uphold or Gemini, as both services do not support accounts from this region. Moreover, there are no available alternatives such as Brave Wallet or other non-custodial options. This limitation not only restricts access to earned BAT but also discourages continued engagement with the Brave ecosystem.
It’s unclear whether this ongoing restriction is due to a logistical challenge or a strategic decision. However, expanding wallet options—or at the very least, enabling on-chain payments or access to Brave Wallet—would be a highly appreciated step toward inclusivity. It would empower more users from Bangladesh to fully participate in and benefit from the Brave Rewards program.
We hope Brave takes this growing user base seriously and considers resolving these restrictions in the near future.
