It would be good if Brave remember pdf pages. When i close the pdf and open, it starts from page 1 but edge browser remember where i left. It would be cool if you guys add this feature <3
That’s the main reason I keep PDF reader programs, like Sumatra, open on my machine.
Agreed / liked; but worth an additional remark — Sumatra
is an excellent PDF (also eBook) reader, but it’s only available for Windows.
Yep. I was going to mention what I use on my Linux machines, but I couldn’t recall the name of the program.
I am surprised with all the “window session” and tab history available in Brave, that they did not think of this one yet. All it takes is saving the page number when the same pdf file is restored the next time the PC is restarted.
I constantly have to write down my page numbers, and no I don’t want another program for reading PDFs.
I want to search websites and do research while I have my academic PDFs opened.
This should be very basic.
I’d love for Brave Browser to enhance its PDF reading experience by remembering the last viewed page when a PDF is closed, similar to how Edge does it. As someone who relies on Brave as my primary PDF reader, I appreciate its seamless integration with extensions like Dark Reader, which allows for a customized reading environment. The ability to organize PDF files directly through the browser, without needing separate software, is a huge plus. However, the lack of persistent page tracking disrupts the workflow—every time I reopen a PDF, it resets to page 1. This feature is essential for a modern PDF reader, as it ensures continuity and saves time. Making Brave a more reliable all-in-one solution for PDF management would greatly improve user experience. Thanks for considering this!
