Suddenly I got disconnected from my Uphold verified wallet from both my Windows PC and Andriod phone. Every time I try to reconnect my Brave wallet to my Uphold verified wallet it gives me “Error: Region not supported” message.
I checked the list of countries that are not supported and “EGYPT”, where I am located, is not on the list! I contacted Uphold support and they advised me to contact Brave support regarding this issue through the brave community page.
Until now I am unable to connect to my Uphold verified wallet due to this error.
No such list exists. The lists you see are the ones where the countries ARE supported. Meaning if your country is not on the list, then your region is not supported at this time. And, as you stated, Egypt is not on the list for the moment.
Keep in mind that the unsupported region is referencing that Brave has stopped allowing Users to connect to Uphold or Gemini in those regions. It doesn’t disconnect people if they were already linked to Gemini or Uphold. Therefore, your computer would be linked if you did it before Brave stopped supporting the country but your other devices wouldn’t be able to connect because you tried to do it after. Also, it means when your computer does get disconnected, it won’t be able to connect again. (Disconnects every 90-120 days on average)
In short, your country isn’t supported right now. It likely will be added again here by the end of the year, but we are waiting to see what’s happening. (And there’s a lot of articles & posts on this if you would have taken your time to search for answers)
