Reddit is opening in old format and won't open in new Reddit

Description of the issue:
Reddit opens in the old format. When I press “get new Reddit” nothing happens

*Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
Just to to Reddit.com

Every time

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Android 7 and brave 1.9.79

Can you try going to https://old.reddit.com/prefs#beta and enabled Use new Reddit as my default experience at the very bottom

Apologies for the late reply, are you still having issues?
If so, can you try logging out of reddit and then going into you settings and then clearing all data?

Yes I am. I had to revert to using Chrome!!! I will try that.
