Red exclamation point before url

Type of device (iPad pro, iPhone 10, etc):
iPhone

iOS version ( Settings --> About --> Software Version ): 15.7

Detailed description of the behavior: Red exclamation point appears before many websites prior to lock appearing. This started after I subscribed to Brave/Guardian VPN
