The TOR browser notifies you when you are trying to add an existing bookmark and provides options for continuing or aborting.
That would be a great feature to have added to Brave.
I shrink to think of how many duplicates, triplicates, quadruplicates & beyond I have.
The shrinking accelerates when I consider the chore of cleaning them up.
