Rearrange Tabs with Keyboard Shortcuts

Description of the issue: Move Tabs Hotkeys Extension is not working
How can this issue be reproduced? Install Move Tabs Hotkeys. Try hotkeys option + shift J/K nothing happens. Extension is grayed out.

Expected result: Tabs should be rearranged

Brave Version( check About Brave):

Version 1.76.74 Chromium: 134.0.6998.89 (Official Build) (arm64)

Additional Information:

This is likely a browser design but I cannot use this browser if it doesnt support rearranging hotkeys from the keyboard.

Also: I skipped the ā€˜f’ in shift and it wouldnt let me post lol

@Give You may need to contact the people who make the extension, if it’s even active anymore. I tried to do a search using the name you shared and it hasn’t been updated since 2018. I’m assuming it wouldn’t have been impacted by MV3 or anything, but there’s been a lot of changes since then.

Beyond that, is just making sure it’s showing active in brave://extensions/ or seeing if there’s any errors there. You may need to toggle on Developer Mode to get it to work as well, assuming you trust it.

You mean like everything at brave://settings/system/shortcuts?

Does it work well?

Btw, did you also check out the shortcuts as I mentioned from Brave’s settings? For example, the ones in my screenshot below are the native options but can be edited or have additional shortcuts added.

If I do as it says, it moves the tab I’m on to the left or right (up or down if in vertical)

Of course, you can use searches to narrow down the huge list of potential shortcuts to see what they can do. Such as:

Perhaps it’s just not as all inclusive as what you’re looking to achieve but I wanted to make sure you are seeing it and aware. Even if not for your tabs, at least so you might know for other things in the browser as well.
