Reader mode settings not saving

After the latest update to Brave on iOS, I have to update my reader mode settings every time I use it.

Brave Version 1.77 (99)
iOS Version 18.4.1
iPhone 14 Pro Max

The Cookies and Site Data switch setting is important - DISABLE that and click the “Clear Data Now” button (not apparent, but acts as a save button) (screenshot intended only for clarification of the specific setting location):

And, the BB iOS setting: Private Browsing Only ← DISABLE that:

After making those settings, a complete Quit of Brave Browser: Exit / Quit everything ← meaning, completely, the Apple iOS way - a complete “hard”/“force” restart of the iPad and iPhone:

Then Open Brave Browser and double-check those settings. If a settings change does not stick, correct and do another complete Quit.

Then test your issue: “reader mode settings” not sticking.

No matter how I close Brave, the Cookies and Site Data setting will not save.
