Questions regarding TAP and the future of Brave Rewards

  1. Will it be available on mobile?
  2. Will it be available outside the US?
  3. Will an ID-verified Uphold account be required forever or are there plans to simplify the process?

The whole “get paid for enabling ads” concept depends on an option like this to redeem BAT for gift cards. Right now the big majority of Brave Rewards users only have virtual wallets they can’t access or use aside from some kind of opaque donation system. I’m about to opt out from this since the lack of information is making me more sceptical. (Moreover I’ve just lost 20 BAT recently and still don’t know what to do to get them back.)
