QR scanner in address bar is not working

Description of the issue: QR scanner in the address bar is not working.

How can this issue be reproduced?

1. Tap on the QR scanner in the address bar, and nothing happens.

Expected result: It should be working.

Brave Version( check About Brave): 1.45.120

Mobile Device detailsAndroid 12.

Have you allowed camera access to Brave in OS Settings?

Hello there @ZorkZero. Could you please try deleting your cookies from the app to see if the issue is solved?

1. In Brave, open the main menu, then Settings --> Privacy. Note: You can also select Menu --> History --> Clear browsing data
2. Select Clear browsing data

Let me know if that works.

It won’t work also on degoogled android and maybe with Huawei too(?) as it required Google Play Services; so I can’t use this feature…
