Can you put history shortcut in the sidebar so it’s quick and easy to access? At the moment I have to click on the three bars in the top right corner, scroll down to history and then click on the history icon. I know there’s a short cut with the ctrl + h but I’m used to using the touchpad on my laptop. It would be much easier just to click on an icon in the sidebar which i have always on. I’m migrating over from Opera which does this and it’s really useful. I want to stick with Brave as it blocks ads on YT much better than Opera.
I agree. This is a pain! Going to frustrate me enough to leave Brave and I really don’t want to do that.
We actually want an option where we don’t have to open a new tab just to see the full history. We want something where we can simply click an icon to view the history without having to go to another tab.
The request was for an icon that functions the same way as Ctrl+H.
Chrome has a history side panel, but it’s not well implemented - it doesn’t automatically search and doesn’t even auto-focus the search field. Because that is not in Chromium, which both Brave and Chrome are based on, it’s not likely to be imported into Brave, and there don’t appear to be any extensions that do a similar task. If you want Brave to have something like it, your best bet is to create a new feature request topic.
