Push notifications not delivering

Description of the issue:
Push notifications aren’t being delivered/aren’t showing up anywhere.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Go to https://twitter.com/settings/push_notifications
  2. Enable notifications
  3. Wait for the Twitter accounts you follow to post something that it on your list of things you want to be alerted for
  4. Check if any notifs arrived.
    This method DOES NOT show notifs for me.

Expected result:
A pop-up notification anywhere on-screen, and/or showing up in my Windows apps notifications (to the right of my system clock).

Extra notes, for comparison:

  1. Go to https://www.bennish.net/web-notifications.html
  2. Click Authorize
  3. Click Allow in the pop-up
  4. Click Show in 5s
  5. Check if any notifs arrived.
    This method DOES show notifs for me.

When Twitter asked you if you wanted to receive notifications did you allow it?

I suppose you mean with a pop-up along the lines of “allow”?
I honestly don’t remember if that pop-up showed up at all. I know I would have clicked yes if it did, but I am now doubting if it showed up at all.
