Protection against HTTPS session tracking

I just read this article:

https://youbroketheinternet.org/trackedanyway

It outlines how Google and Facebook can use HTTPS session identifiers instead of cookies to track. Does Brave protect against this? Is it enough to restart the browser to reset it?

The article also suggests a way to deactivate this mechanism in mozilla, but setting security.ssl.disable_session_identifiers in about:config. Is there a corresponding solution for chromium/brave?

Thanks.
