In previous recent versions of Brave, the items selected from the main menu list, opened by clicking the button in the top-right corner of the window, were highlighted in a subtle, non-bright sandy color, which was extremely convenient. This feature was visually clear and improved usability. I believe removing this feature was entirely unjustified, as it was useful, convenient, and well-executed both visually and stylistically. Please consider reinstating this design choice or providing users with the option to customize the active menu item highlighting with a similar color.
