Description of the issue:
When opening the desktop browser, I got a small window notifying me that a profile error had occurred and that some features might be unavailable. Nothing is saved to my browsing history. I did not notice this before setting up a sync chain (one desktop, Linux Mint 19.3, one mobile, iOS 13.3).
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): **
1. Create sync chain between Linux desktop and iOS mobile.
** 2. Error window will appear
I’m not sure how reproducible this is.

Expected result:
No error window and a working history.
Reproduces how often:
It appears to happen every time, though the window only appears about half the time.

I have tried clearing my personal data for all time, and it has not solved the issue.
