You have to scan or enter the Sync code. Sounds like you are creating multiple sync chains.
You have to click the one that says “I have a sync code” and scan the code, if you created a sync chain for the iPhone then you should leave it and join the Desktop one (since it is easier to scan the code).
I did that but still it seems the chain in desktop doesn’t work
I did for my IPad and IPhone, just can’t add the Windows desktop. If I ask the windows desktop to give the chain passfrase it gives the correct one but it doesnt show any device.
go to brave://sync-internals/
and check to see if it is working, if not you can always leave the chain that way, restart, re-join the sync chain to see if the other devices appear.
This problem still exists, how can I solve it?
well, what did you do? did you leave the chain there? press any button or anything? there should be a button to clear it, and you can try to start a new sync chain.
I mean there is a server error auth one.
Also, don’t post screenshots of it online, since it even contains your @brave.com
username.
Are you behind a DNS that filters anything? because Brave uses Amazon AWS for its servers.
I mean, it is clear it is not connecting to the server, so you might want to try with a different internet or something to see if is your side blocking anything. Or maybe a Firewall problem or something.
I don’t know if you have modified anything, like, I use a third party firewall so something I get issues connecting until I remember to allow it.
