Privacy Stats stuck in one orientation

Description of the issue: On Brave Android, tapping the Privacy Stats widget forces the device screen into a specific portrait orientation (rotation). On tablets with four possible orientations, this will flip the screen if it is currently in “bottom-up” portrait mode.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open new tab page on Android device.
  2. Rotate the device until it is in landscape orientation or portrait orientation with the bottom of the device pointing up.
  3. Tap Privacy Stats widget.

Expected result: The Privacy Stats widget forces the device to change to a top-up portrait screen orientation when it should reposition according to device orientation.

Brave Version( check About Brave): 1.36.112

Mobile Device details: Tested on HMD Nokia X20 phone running Android 12 and Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite running Android 11.

@VeryCisEnby,
Thank you for reaching out with this issue.
I do see what you’re saying — the browser forces portrait mode if you’re in landscape when observing the full privacy statistics. I’ve informed the Android team about for them to review.
