I was checking on my payment history @Affirm.com and Brave browser flagged a tracker being loaded when I attempted to enter the site. The same thing happened when I tried to use the Affirm Payment App. I finally was able to contact Customer Service and request the tracker be turned off for my account. No Joy. The new law in California specifically stops this behavior but unfortunately I don’t live in CA. After a long exchange I was able to get the phone number for customer payments. I will use that in the future. Brave alerted me to the issue even after my VPN (Surfshark) and Private Email (Proton) failed to detect the trackers. I am not a fanatic but Privacy and Security is the most important aspect of safety on the internet in the future. Thanks to Brave , keep up the good work.
Selling my information, tracking my spending and monitoring my bank account are not the right of lenders to impose on customers. We as a society need to call out this behavior. Remember, Google, is the largest Advertising agency in the world.
