Print requests - Print preview and Simplify Page option (similar to Firefox)

Hello Brave -

I’m interested in adding a print preview option. This would allow you to preview what the print will look like. If that feature exists, I’m not finding it.

Ideally, the print preview would include scaling options (with preset scaling values, shrink to fit and arbitrary % scaling available), and a Simplify Page option similar to Firefox (the browser determines the pertinent content and removes the superfluous content and modifies formatting) within the Print Preview.

My operating system and such:

Brave 0.19.139
rev 99aa17d
Muon 4.7.2
libchromiumcontent 64.0.3282.85
V8 6.4.388.20
Node.js 7.9.0
Update Channel Release
OS Platform Microsoft Windows
OS Release 10.0.16299
OS Architecture x64

Thanks for the request @timd,

Added your +1 to the request and it’s logged here

For the sites I print from frequently I have to use another browser. With Brave I cannot tell if it is about to print in landscape or portrait mode and I frequently print both ways. Without the print preview in Brave I can check and change between portrait an landscape but it much more time consuming to go into the print driver each time

Was about to submit the following as new, but since it’s a known issue with multiple feature requests I’ll just add it here (SUBJ: Can’t find a ‘print preview’ option):

I haven’t found any ‘print preview’ option in BRAVE.

In CHROME, there are two ‘print’ options, one of which is the same one I see in BRAVE. That one doesn’t have a preview option.

The other, however, which is the default in CHROME, includes a preview option, which allows the user to recheck ‘appearance’ & formatting, as well as page orientation, pagination, etc. before printing.

Please add as soon as it can be done.
