Possibility to suppress Updates

Hello,
I have only a limited internet access (3 GB a month). Once or twice a year I am able to have more Internet. So I have to suppress all updates except my VirusScan. untill this occasions. As Brave doesnt give me the chance to suppress the update, I have to use another browser until You have changed Your policy. I am very sorry, as I started to like it.

Maybe You can tell me a workaround or You can Change Your Policy.
