Description of the issue:
I’m using Brave on my Mac Studio running the beta OS 15.0.
I’m very, very new to crypto.
Furthermore, I’ve just bought $300 of Ethereum via Transak. That was 30 minutes ago.
I’ve just looked now at my Wallet. My portfolio says that I’ve just lost
@Pb4072 it’s due to what it’s measuring. If you look at the first screenshot that shows for your whole portfolio and -25% over the past week.
The second screenshot is showing each token and is over a 24 hour period. So Ethereum itself is up 2.72% over a 24 hour period.
Let’s look at Ethereum here as an example.
For all time:
For past week:
For last 24 hours:
For last hour:
Each of those is set to show you the trend for whichever period of time that you have selected.
But you can see in that testing, it shows past week was 24.90%, which is pretty much what your screenshot showed.
Then if we move to the 24 hour period, it’s 2.51% which is a bit different than your 2.72%, but would also be based on the time that has passed since you posted.
Keep in mind values will consistently change and it’s important to keep an eye out on how you’re measuring growth.
