Brave is using a code to sync but unfortunately it doesn’t sync eveything. I did format on my pc a few times and each time even tho I immediately started sync I had to reapply some my old settings (Primarily personalization and history {all}). Instead of using a code (it can still be an alternative) why not use account system like google chrome? I never had any problems backing up my data with google chrome. It was always up to date and I only needed to change small settings after sync (For example, changing the download folder). In conclusion, having your data stored/synced with an account is much faster and better, at least for me. Other than this fact brave is better than chrome overall.

Schedule routine backups. Name the .zip backup files, chronologically; examples:
