Description of the issue:
The pointer (mouse icon) is very small. I have checked to see if this happens with the 2 other programs that I installed and it doesn’t. Also, it doesn’t happen with the programs that were installed by default.

I changed the “pointer size” by using the slider in “mouse and touchpad” settings available in the operating system.
Reproduces how often:
All of the time.

Linux Mint 19.1 Cinnamon

Edit: I played around with settings in the operating system and now things seem to be working fine. Still strange because I’m pretty sure that my settings are still the same as when I originally posted this (I changed a lot in trying to solve another problem but then changed them all back in the end). Perhaps it was just a reboot that solved the issue.
