I wanted to request a few features which I’d love to see in Brave:
Notes Manager: Similar to the one present in Vivaldi, I’d like to recommend this feature in Brave. It’ll be mainly to keep one’s notes synced within the browser itself. I’d like to see a notes button in the sidebar which opens a side panel (similar to what happens when we click the Leo button in sidebar) and a full screen view of it in something like brave://notes. It’d certainly be very handy for everyone!
Sticky Notes: I’d prefer to see it below the Clock widget or the Favourites (Top Sites) widget. It’d help one to note down things they have to do quite early.
I do not believe that your feature requests gets implemented in the near future or at all.
Brave as another focus than Vivaldi. Brave is more privacy focused and Vivaldi more of a Browser Suite with many functions. This is not bad or wrong at all, just other interests. Such note manager would be hard to implement alone the data management in the background. But you had good ideas, I must say.
Though, there is a solution with extensions like matrixNote or maybe Dashy App. That is not recommendation by me, I just looked fast in the extension store and found those which looks like that what you’re searching for.
For your last point:
The forum does support dark mode, just look into your account settings.
I see. Thank you for letting me know. I thought it was a simple thing to implement, but guess I was mistaken.
Also, thank you for letting me know of the dark theme. But it seems to be available only to those logged into an account and not for those viewing it without an account. I hope it’s made available to all in the near future

Who knows, maybe the feature will come in the future but as said looking at the core features of Brave I would not have that much hope for it.
Yes, I thought about the general dark mode availability too, but I also do have a workaround to this: Dark Reader
It works perfectly, and I use it since years without any difficulties. If a website does not look good or has some readability issues, you can deactivate the extension on the fly or specific for this website.
If you wish to talk about this, create a new post specific to this theme. Perhaps you can make the forum admins aware of this issue.
@Mattches I recently got to know of Brave’s plans to implement a new New Tab page. Are there any plans on implementing the features I’m recommending?
