Plex Media Server on Brave does not show Cast targets after Plex update 4.99.2

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Start Plex Web on Brave (“Open Plex” from tray icon)
  2. Press Cast icon on upper icon bar
  3. Click Cast…

Expected result:
Window opens…“Cast to a device”
In my case, three Cast targets appear for selection on Chrome 109.0.5414.75 but the secondary window does not even open on Brave, so I cannot select a cast target.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.47.171 Chromium: 109.0.5414.87 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Prior to this major Plex update, casting worked just fine on Brave. The cast targets are properly configured in Google Home; they all cast successfully from Chrome.

Widevine is already enabled. I don’t see what DRM has to do with Casting. Please elaborate and give me some other ideas to fix this.
