Please Change To Standard Tab Navigation

Brave would be THE GO TO BROWSER if CTRL+PgDn would step One Tab Right, and CTRL+PgUp would step One Tab Left.

Ctrl+1 through 9 work as expected.

I see what Ctrl+PgUp/PgDn in Brave is setup to do, but neither me, nor any of my colleagues, can not make use of it - it is the primary reason we can NOT use Brave without Chrome or Firefox open at the same time.

Otherwise, Thank you for all your hard work on Brave :+1:

@Dev1,
Thank you for reaching out.
Not quite sure I understand – Ctrl + PgUp does move to the next open tab (to the right) and Ctrl + PgDn moves to the previous open tab (to the left). Is this not the expected behavior?

@Mattches, Wow! Nice quick reply. TY.

When I use those shortcuts it goes to the next/previous tab that was recently created. Since I have Brave set to open all the tabs from the previous session, Ctrl+PgUp/Dn makes it ‘seemingly’ go all over the place.

There’s “Cycle through the most recently used tabs with Ctrl-Tab” setting under Settings > Appearance IIRC.

Not sure if it’s affecting Ctrl+PgUp/PgDn too.

@eljuno !!! YOU WIN THE PRIZE ! ! ! THANK YOU THANK YOU ! ! !

Turning off “Cycle through the most recently used tabs with Ctrl-Tab” changed it back to normal.

Funny, I didn’t knowingly turn that setting on, nor ever knew it was there.

Thank you @eljuno and @Mattches for getting involved here - Cheers to you!

Whew HEW!!!
