@Bluemeenie might help if you look through your settings. It’s an appearance option where you can have bookmark icon or have options for other things, such as AI.
Any time you see changes, it’s a good idea to take your time to look through things to see if any menu options or toggles also were added.
Thanks so much, I am glad it is still there. I will spend more time looking next time but I thought I had looked and was not sure what I was looking at. Is there a manual that I could have looked up?
No, unfortunately no such thing. Unfortunately no browser company ever has any detailed guides or notes on the things they change. Even trying to dive into change logs tend to have things difficult to see.
That’s kind of why I was saying the bit I did, that a lot of times we just have to search through things or experiment. It’s not ideal but it is kind of how a lot of technology has been over the years. Menus get rearranged, options renamed, etc and the only way to find out is to look.
When this change happened I didn’t know either. I just knew I went to click on my bookmarks and it was gone. First thought went to questioning myself if they really would have removed it. But rather than running with that assumption, I decided to look through settings because it seemed more likely they would have a toggle for it or something. As I looked through, I found it.
