Playlist on iOS not working

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. If I add a video from YouTube to the playlist, it doesent download or play anything, the app just displays an error message.

iPhone 11 Pro, iOS 18
Additional Information:
The feature works fine on my older iPad and iPhone on older versions on iOS. I already tried to clear all app-data and reinstall Brave.

You might allow:

so Brave receives some data.

By “all app data” do you mean all of, or only the Playlist portion of:

Please be sure to use the iOS App Switcher and completely close/exit/quit all apps, after clearing data.

And, perform 2 complete shutdowns (aka force restarts), after removing an app.

I cleared all data and performed the steps you mentioned. Still doesnt work for me. I found a workaround for my device:

I have to add the video to the playlist, switch to playlist and open the video in a private tab. Then I tap on the playlist icon in the new tab and delete the video from the playlist and add it again, still from the private tab.

Then immediately switch to the playlist, long tap on the video and tap download. This is the only way I can get it to work.

Yes. I can only get videos to download as mentioned above.
