Playlist Not Working on New IOS/IPhone in IOS 18.3.1

Brave fixed this issue not to long ago , in there 2’nd last update on IOS/Phones that had been broken for months , And No fault of Braves team or staff … been very unlucky on Braves team side that within a week of fixing the offline playlist & download feature…

Apple bought out the new update the 18.3.1 version and this killed the fix of the bug on The playlist. As in you cant watch most of your already offline playlist nor can you add to it now now since the new update.

I Love brave for its Security & its Privacy mission goal set. And ill always stand by brave for all the Amazing work the team & Staff do for us users! they are amazing!

I wanted to report this as I’ve seen it not just me its many others that have the very same issue, I use Brave for its Trackers Cookies Fingerprint & so many other amazing privacy tools and the ad blocker

BUT my Favourite tool/feature apart from the privacy & security is been able to download a video from 90% of All websites not just YouTube & then having it play in the background as you work or when your offline you have movies or music any media files. I Love this Feature

I Know many others from other SM platforms feel the very same way , But out of bad luck Brave fixed the IOS Brave Browser app and I was so happy & then a week later Apple/IOS Came out with a new update ( Apple 18.3.1 ) That stopped it from working.

Brave then a few days later putout a new Update for IOS users & I was so happy thinking It Would fix it but it did not sadly.

I said it to the MOD’s on Reddit & many others there have said it there & also love the Feature but its broken for them too. I wanted to let the Brave Team & Staff to know that way they can fix it like they did the last time or with any bugs.

You ( BRAVE Staff & Workers ) Do Not get enough thanks and Credit for all the hard work you do!

But It does NOT go unnoticed and Hopefully a Staff member will see this , or people like it so the Brave team can see it & we can get the Playlist on IOS version 18.3.1 fixed to where the playlist works offline & downloads new media files again

HI , Sorry the delay in getting back to you now, Yes I seen the link and I have tried the work arounds

As in , Clearing all data cookies cache etc , and it will some times work when in private mode on iPhone the newest update , but its not smooth nor does it download all media files like it should when brave fixed it not too long ago
( 2 update’s ago i think , don’t hold me to that )

What i mean is , When the bug was fixed you could go to so many streaming sites and most other sides that play a vast range of media files & 99% of the time it would give you the option…

To download them be it your favourite music videos from YT , but Also your fav movies & clips & gifs & almost Any media file on almost any site to play offline,
( As you can tell i Love this Feature )

in the private mode i find it only works ion YouTube the odd site it will work on mut its not how it should be , i.e. when the bug was fixed after apple updated a good few months ago. the bug fix fixed everything and i could play every media file i had on my phone ( which i could not do ) and i could start to download again

I knew about the Private mode workaround , But i hope someone so much smarter than i am am and knows about I.T can fix this for us IOS / IPhone users , I have friends that will not update there IPhone over losing the offline playlist again and they are waiting until

there is a fix in the App store. I just wanted to bring it to the amazing staff & team at brave and i know in time it will be fixed. i did not know it was already mentioned here.
