Built in Picture in Picture ability not works at all sites.

How can this issue be reproduced?
Go to https://www.stoiximan.gr/ and select a live streaming game.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.20.85 Chromium: 88.0.4324.96 (Official release beta 64-bit)
User Interface Language : Greek

Additional information : Google’s add on/extension Picture in Picture works OK in Brave at all sites that i had use it. :slightly_smiling_face:

I can’t access the site since I’m located in the US (VPN connection also doesn’t seem to work – they must have some for of detecting it). Brave itself does not have a built in PIP feature. This is typically feature of the web player or site that you’re watching the content on. So the PIP isn’t working properly on the site you listed but can you go to Youtube, for example, and use the PIP function there?

Yes , there is no problem at utube or other sites ,eg this https://www.skaitv.gr/live.
Additionaly , i solved the problem by enable the flag “Global Media Controls Picture-in-Picture”.

  1. If Brave dont have build-in PiP ability , why when i start the streaming automated appears the PiP icon at add-on line (is at red circle) ? Note : I have “Experimental Web Platform features” and “Global Media Controls Picture-in-Picture” flags enabled.

  2. Brave as Edge and Chrome , offers only a small size for PiP. I would very happy if Brave has the abilities of Opera at PiP (plays and at full screen). I wish that Brave team add this ability as soon as possible , as i have installed Opera only for PiP.
