Prompts that appear in brave, such as saving password, allowing permissions for microphone or location, aren’t focused by default, so clicking any of the buttons doesn’t work for the first click. I first have to click anywhere in the popup box, to focus it, only then the buttons work.
To reproduce the issue:
- Enter login details to any site that triggers the save login/password prompt
- A brave popup appears, however the first click anywhere on it doesn’t do anything
- Clicking the buttons after its focused works.
Expected result:
Popup should automatically be focused, so clicking “save” or “close” buttons work.

I’ve attempted disabling brave shields, disabling ublock origin. This is a clean install of windows 11, and the same issue was happening before reinstalling windows.
