Performance in YouTube

Default scrollbar in YouTube runs at a separate framerate to the rest of the website. When using scrollbar to scroll, YouTube will drop framerate to match the scrollbar.

Opening a video in a new-tab via middle-click or right click option will open a tab with a different color scrollbar entirely, but framerate issues stop.

It might be wise to use default scrollbar from the beginning, one that matches the browsers theme.

One solution I’ve discovered is to download a scrollbar overlay extension from the chrome store. It’s not perfect, but it works better than it did before. And it took care of the scrollbar changing colors when opening a video in a new tab.
