PDF URLs are not usable

Problem: when viewing a PDF in brave, the actual URL is prefixed with the chrome extension text, such as: chrome-extension://oemmndcbldboiebfnladdacbdfmadadm/
which makes cut-n-paste as well as web clipping programs not work with the PDF.

Request: do not show (trim) the chrome extension text when displaying a pdf

Note that this isn’t the only issue with the omnibox, it also doesn’t show search result URLs:

Note that nightly, dev and beta builds do not run on my computer and immediately crash (report sent to apple)
