PDF Candy Page Unresponsive (Establishing secure connection...)

Help! I’ve got a deadline by the end of the night to send my response (representing myself pro se for custody modification) and after spending an hour or more making my edits with the extension PDF Candy; After attempting to export my final product (free version gets 1 edit per day) I get a Page Unresponsive error and at the bottom left corner it says it’s trying to establish a secure connection…
I tried following a previous thread about PDFs, but I didn’t see an Advanced option within the browser settings.

My options are to ‘wait’ which at this point doesn’t seem to be an avenue of progression or ‘exit page’ which I fear my work will be lost.

Please help, urgent!

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Upload PDF to PDF Candy browser extension (edit pdf)
  2. Apparently timeout a certificate
  3. Attempt to export product

Expected result: exporting edited PDF would generate a downloadable file of the product.

**Brave Version( check About Brave): v 1.45.11B

**Additional Information: laptop HP windows 10 home
OS build 19045.2130

I’m sorry, I don’t know exactly how to get you completely out of this pickle.

But I’m pretty certain you don’t want to use the ‘exit page’ option – as you said, I think your work will be lost.

If I were in your predicament I would start taking screen shots of whatever content I could, and then just wait maybe like 10 minutes – which you’ve probably already done by now.

One thing you could try is to ‘Duplicate’ the tab that has the content in it. It may not have the content but at least then you’d see if any of it is available online, I’m presuming PDF Candy connects to some sort of web service and maybe copying the tab would get you back into the same ‘edit session.’ And it shouldn’t mess up your existing tab any more than it already is.

Yeah, u fortunately I was unable to navigate and the preview pane was to small to decipher. I just finished retyping it all up. It was better the first time. Next is the safer; saved complete version in a .xls file all ready for the copy/paste final once over. I found a few settings I tried out, but they never affected the looping tabs behavior. Advanced options, shields up and down, DNS variety, and I even tried playing with exporting/importing certificates, but I don’t think it did anything.
Setla vi.

Short answer; produce to a familiar save file before transitioning into editing a final product in export.
